No one was injured when a tree fell on a home in East Ridge Sunday.

Police and firefighters in East Ridge were called to the 3300 block of Gleason Circle just after 8:45 am.

"Police arrived on scene reporting no injuries with power lines down," an East Ridge Fire Department spokesperson said.

Code enforcement and the power board were called to the home too due to the extent of the damage, the spokesperson added.

The fire department said the homeowners were home at the time. They will have to stay with relatives for the time being until repairs are made.
