Morning storms in the Tennessee Valley have knocked out power for hundreds in the Channel 3 viewing area.

Crews with North Georgia EMC are currently working to get the lights back on for close to 1,000 customers as of 3:45 pm.

Sequatchie Valley Electic is working to restore power in Marion County and Grundy County. Around 80 outages have been reported there.

There are a number of outages in the Chattanooga area. EPB said there are significant outages in the Red Bank-Moccasin area and in the Bakewell-Sale Creek area. 

Volunteer Energy Cooperative says 147 customers in Rhea County are currently without power. Over 200 Bradley County, around 175 McMinn County and 96 Meigs County customers are in the dark as well.
