UPDATE: One dead in officer-involved shooting
UPDATE: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released the suspect's name involved in a shooting by Hamilton County deputies Monday night.
They say Charles Bradley Payne, 42, was armed with a baseball bat when deputies arrived. During the exchange with deputies, Payne dropped the bat and took out a knife, escalating the situation. One of the deputies then shot Payne, killing him.
The deputy's name has not been released.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a disorder call just before midnight Monday to 9109 Broyles Drive.
Upon arrival, officers identified a suspect wielding a weapon; that suspect is now deceased.
The officers involved in the shooting were not injured and have been placed on administrative leave with pay, following agency policy.
At this time, it is unclear as to what the circumstances were leading up to the shooting.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has taken over the case.
