A Tennessee man wanted for murder was arrested at the Atlanta airport Saturday night.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said TBI agents and investigators with the Carter County Sheriff's Office were called to a home in Elizabethton, Tennessee, Saturday after a caregiver reported finding a person deceased.

The individual was identified as 76-year-old Edith Betty Ralph.

Investigators, agents and deputies determined that Edith's son, 51-year-old John Ralph, was the one who killed her, according to the TBI.

John Ralph was arrested Saturday night at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Marshals Service.

He has been charged with first-degree murder, and he is being held in the Clayton County, GA, Jail waiting to be brought back to Tennessee. His bond is set at $1,000,000.
