A man wanted in Berks, Pennsylvania, was arrested in Sequatchie County thanks to a tip.

The sheriff's office said they received a tip that a suspect, who was later identified as Joshua Yelk, wanted out of Pennsylvania was in the county.

"Detectives with the Sheriff’s Department along with the Dunlap Police Dept began investigating the tip and developed credible information that the subject was a Parole Violator out of Pennsylvania," a Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office spokesperson explained.

Dunlap police officers and Sequatchie County deputies found the Yelk's vehicle and identified him.

They pulled the vehicle over and took Yelk into custody.

Yelk is currently being held at the Sequatchie County Jail awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
