Woman hits man in head with brick, gets 45th arrest for public intoxication
A Chattanooga woman has been charged with public intoxication for the 45th time, after hitting a man in the head with a brick.
Sandra Sexton told Chattanooga police she hit the man Thursday because he wouldn't stop messing with her.
Police say she smelled like alcohol and appeared to be drunk.
As the officer arrested Sexton and placed her in the back of the patrol car, she told the officer she would make him cry when they got to the jail.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition but is expected to be ok.
She's also been charged with attempted first-degree murder, retaliation against judge, juror, officer, and public intoxication.
Sexton's bond is set at $233,000.
