Clouds will be increasing during the day ahead of the next weather system that arrives on Saturday night.

Temperatures today warm up to 70-72 with south winds 5-10 mph.

Tonight, thanks to cloudy skies, temperatures will only dip down to 50-53. Saturday morning brings a slight rain chance from 3AM-5AM east of I-75. Rainfall amounts at this point will be very light under 0.03" until Saturday night. Rain will be increasing by Saturday evening, starting west of I-75 by 8PM-10PM, and increasing in Chattanooga by Midnight.

The best chance for rain and thunderstorms for Chattanooga will range from Midnight to 3AM. Rain and storms will exit in our western half by 1AM-3AM, and our far eastern counties by 5AM-7AM leaving rainfall amounts of 0.25" to 0.75" total.
