Local daycare voluntarily closing following complaint to state officials
The Tennessee Department of Human Services says Kandy Kastle Daycare in Chattanooga plans to voluntarily close on Friday.
State officials say they received a complaint of an employee hitting a child with a ruler on January 2.
That employee has since been fired and the daycare was given a violation.
Channel 3 contacted the daycare to find out why they are voluntarily closing.
Our calls have not been returned.
