The Chattanooga Lookouts don't begin their 2019 campaign at AT&T Field until April 4th. So, they let some high school ball players break in the turf for them.

Lookout Valley (5-0, 1-0) took on Sale Creek (4-2, 0-1) on a chilly Tuesday evening. Less than 24 hours prior, the Yellow Jackets defeated the Panthers in walk-off fashion. Tuesday night, they didn't wait until the last inning to go ahead.

Lookout Valley rattled off 15 hits in an 18-1 romp of Sale Creek. The Yellow Jackets remain undefeated in regular season and District 4-A play.

Zane Howard got the win, tossing four innings, giving up two hits, one run, one walk, and three strikeouts. Cole Janeway let the way from the plate going 4-5, with 4 RBI's, and a run.

Lookout Valley (6-0, 2-0) will play CSAS on Monday in another district match-up. Sale Creek (4-3, 0-2) will take on Tellico Plains on Monday.
