Bradley County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested two men who are accused of several stealing equipment from construction sites.

BCSO spokesperson Adam Lewis says 32-year-old Joshua Burdin and 50-year-old Mark Brewer are accused of the thefts, which spanned from Chattanooga to Cleveland.

Lewis says detectives found large number of stolen items, including generators, reciprocating saws, circular saws, a table saw and several construction tools while searching two homes in Bradley County.

Lewis says a utility trailer and other enclosed trailers were also found during the investigation.

Both men are charged with theft over $10,000. Brewer is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Lewis says the property that was recovered by detectives has been accounted for and returned to the victims.

Lewis says more are pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
