72 guns removed from Chattanooga streets in February
Chattanooga police removed 72 guns from the streets in February.
One of the firearms was recovered when officers responded to a domestic disorder on February 24.
When officers arrived on scene, they found an intoxicated suspect who was armed with a gun and preventing the victim from being able to leave the home.
The victim told officers that she was scared for her life, police said.
The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated domestic assault.
To protect the victim, CPD is not releasing the suspect's name.
