WWTA warns Snow Hill area residents of scammer going door-to-door
The Hamilton County Water and Wastewater Treatment Authority (WWTA) is warning Ooltewah residents of a scammer going door-to-door.
A person saying they are with WWTA is trying to go into homes in the Snow Hill area, a WWTA spokesperson said.
The WWTA wants residents to know three important things:
- The WWTA never asks customers to allow them to come into homes.
- Vehicles and uniforms of the WWTA are clearly marked.
- All WWTA employees have official Hamilton County photo identification badges that are clearly displayed.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has been notified of the situation.
