UPDATE: GSP identifies three people killed in Dade Co. crash
The Georgia State Patrol has identified the three people killed in a Dade County crash Tuesday.
They have been identified as:
- Destiny Cagle, 23, of Bryant, Alabama
- Zachary Evans of Henegar, Alabama
- Nathan Smith, 20, of Higdon, Alabama
Cagle and Evans were the two drivers involved in the crash.
Two other people were injured in the crash.
One is still in critical condition, and the other's injuries were non-life-threatening.
PREVIOUS STORY: The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Dade County Tuesday afternoon.
The GSP says it happened on Highway 301 South around mile marker 2 near Bible Camp Road.
The GSP says five people were involved in the two-car crash.
The GSP says both drivers and a passenger have died from their injuries.
The two other passengers have been transported or flown to hospitals with severe injuries.
The names of the people involved have not been released, but the GSP says the victims who have passed away are two males and a female.
The GSP says the cause of the crash is under investigation and more information will be released when it becomes available.
