Woman charged in 2017 murder of man found at East Ridge gas station
Police have charged a woman in the 2017 murder of a man whose body was found at an East Ridge gas station.
Fontella Andrea Woods has been charged with Second Degree Murder of 31-year-old Andrey Viktorovic Tkachenko.
According to court records, Tkachenko died from the unlawful distribution of fentanyl, which was the cause of Tkachenko's death.
On September 18, 2017, Tkachneko's body was found inside a van at the Stop & Go Food Mart on Ringgold Road in East Ridge.
Woods was indicted on February 29, over a year since Tkachneko's murder.
Woods is being held on a $50,000 bail and is due in court on March 22.
