There are a few remaining isolated light showers this morning affecting our far southern and eastern counties. They will last until about 9AM. Overall, today will be mostly cloudy to partly sunny. Greater sunshine for areas north and west of Chattanooga. Temperatures will be above normal with highs in the upper 60s to 70, so enjoy the pleasant weather.

There are several active river and creek Flood Warnings across the region, including S Chickamauga Creek, W Chickamauga Creek, Lookout Creek, Coahulla Creek, Sequatchie River, and Paint Rock River. Continue to use caution if you live near these waterways or other low lying areas.

Cloud cover will increase again tonight for a mostly cloudy to cloudy sky with lows in the low to mid-40s. Then, Monday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the low 60s. Tuesday will have a little more sunshine for a partly sunny day and highs in the low 60s again. Temperatures will warm up even more with highs in the mid to upper 60s on Wednesday.

The chance for more showers and storms then returns on Thursday and Friday with warm temperatures again in the upper 60s to low 70s on Thursday and mid-60s on Friday. Starting next weekend, Saturday should be mostly cloudy with cooler temperatures with highs in the low 50s.
