Two people injured in RV fire expected to be OK
Two people were injured in an RV fire Saturday afternoon.
Chattanooga firefighters were called to the 3000 block of 34th Street at East Lake Park just before 12:45 pm.
A CFD spokesperson said the two people were sleeping inside the RV when it caught fire.
"They got out of the RV, but they appeared to be suffering from smoke inhalation and were transported by Hamilton County EMS to a local hospital," the spokesperson added.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly, but the CFD spokesperson said the damage to the RV was "extensive."
The victims are expected to be OK, and it is believed the fire was accidental.
