UPDATE:  One of the two missing North Carolina brothers has been found.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office said 13-year-old Joseph Plott was located and is safe.

Joseph's 17-year-old brother, Scott Plott, is still missing, however.

Scott is a white male. His eyes are blue, and his hair is brown. The last time he was seen, the top of his hair was dyed blonde. He is 5'8" and weighs 138 pounds.

"Scott has a cross tattoo on one of his legs and a flame design on his right forearm," the National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc. said.

Scott Plott has been missing since mid-February.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Clay County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina is asking everyone to be on the lookout for two missing brothers.

Joseph Plott, 13, and Scott Plott, 17, have been missing since February 15, 2019.

They could still be in the Hayesville area, according to the National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc.

Joseph is described as being a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5'4" and weighs 112 pounds.

Scott is also a white male. He has blue eyes and brown hair, but he was last seen with the top of his hair dyed blonde. He is 5'8" and weighs 138 pounds.
