UPDATE: Walker County deputies have arrested a man connected to an armed robbery at a Rossville gas station.

Joshua Russell was arrested Thursday in Ft. Oglethorpe.

Russell is accused of robbing a Circle K store early Wednesday morning.

The Walker County Sheriff's Office said Russell could face additional charges. 

PREVIOUS STORY: The Walker County Sheriff's Office is asking the community to help them find a robbery suspect.

Around 1:00 am Wednesday, a man robbed the Circle K gas station at the intersection of McFarland Avenue and Mission Ridge Road in Rossville, a spokesperson said.

"The suspect entered the store carrying a pipe and threaten[ed] the store [clerk]," a sheriff's office spokesperson said.

The suspect is described as being a white male around 30 years old. He is 5'10" and approximately 200 pounds. He also has a goatee.

Deputies say the suspect took money, cigarettes and the gas station employee's cell phone.

Following the robbery, the suspect left the store and headed towards McFarland Avenue and the railroad tracks, the sheriff's office added.
