A bookkeeper at a northwest Georgia high school is facing nearly two counts of financial card fraud.

A release from the Walker County Sheriff’s Office says 41-year-old Lonna Louise Crow was employed as a bookkeeper at Ridgeland High School from February 2017 to January 2019.

The release says Crow is accused of using a Lowe’s credit card in the school’s name to buy prepaid gift cards for herself between the dates of May 31, 2018 to January 22, 2019.

The release says Crow spent a total of $8,868.50.

She is charged with 22 counts of financial transaction card fraud. 

Crow was booked at the Walker County jail on Monday.
