Chattanooga firefighters rescue couple stuck in flood waters
A couple is safe after they drove into flood waters Sunday morning in Chattanooga.
Around 4:30 am, Chattanooga firefighters were called to the 3400 block of Lightfoot Mill Road.
"Firefighter Sterling Gillum waded into the waist-deep water to put personal flotation devices on the man and woman," a Chattanooga Fire Department spokesperson said.
Firefighters were able to pull the man and woman to safety.
Both the man and woman were wet and cold, but the CFD spokesperson said no one was injured.
