Just Google "how to make extra money" and see what you get. Millions of results. Most are scams, but you really can make money watching TV and playing games.
Viggle is one of the most popular. Open the app, and it listens to the show you're watching on TV. For each minute you watch, you earn a "Perk Point". So you can earn 120 perk points for a 2-hour movie. A thousand perk points equal a dollar. So you'd need to watch every waking minute one day to earn a dollar.
People love taking surveys for cash, and I mentioned some here. Last week I took some surveys out for a spin. It took me 45 minutes to take one survey and I earned $1.25.
You can earn money by watching TV and answering surveys, but it'll take hours just to make enough to buy a cup of coffee.
If you're going to put that much time and effort into surveys, here are a few better ideas.
Clean out your closet and put the clothes you don't wear for sale on Poshmark. It's easy, takes less time than surveys and if the quality of your clothes is good, so is the money.
Turn a hobby into a part-time job. Arts and Crafts?, set up an Etsy store. Love to take photos? People need professional profile pictures for LinkedIn and other social media accounts.
You could teach, art, music or tutor a subject over YouTube or Facebook or Skype.
Thousands of people are earning a nice salary doing online test prep for the ACT or post-grad exams. All online.
For the time you spend taking surveys, watching TV and playing games for a buck or less an hour, you could spend the same amount of time, put in some effort and earn a living with the technology at our fingertips.
