Final Pilot Flying J defendants to be sentenced Wednesday
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The last four former Pilot Flying J sales employees who admitted taking part in a sales division rebate scheme are set to be sentenced Wednesday afternoon.
Ashley Judd, Holly Radford, Lexie Holden, and Janet Welch will face U.S. District Court Judge Curtis L. Collier in his courtroom in Chattanooga.
Since an April 2013 federal raid on Pilot headquarters in Bearden, 17 former Pilot employees have admitted or been convicted of taking part in the plot to defraud some trucking customers of promised fuel rebates.
A jury in February 2018 convicted former president Mark Hazelwood, former vice president Scott Wombold and Heather Jones.
