Good Tuesday.  A FLOOD WATCH is in effect for the entire area.  RIVER FLOOD WARNINGS are also in effect.  The Coahulla Creek near Dalton is the only one above its banks as of this morning.

We have some showers moving through north Georgia this morning even mixed with a little sleet as temps are in the mid 30s.  We will see those showers lifting into Chattanooga as we move through the morning.  The showers will last through tonight.  Temps this afternoon will stay chilly in the low 40s.

Temps Wednesday will be a little more mild, ranging from 40 in the morning to 50 in the afternoon.  Expect more scattered showers on and off through the day Wednesday.  A front will move through late in the afternoon.  It will bring some heavy rain in for the commute home.  Wednesday evening the rain will end that will lead to a day of nice weather.

Thursday will actually be a good outdoor day.  We will start at 48 degrees, and climb to a very comfortable 61 in the afternoon with partly cloudy skies.

Friday morning more rain showers will move in.  These showers will last through Saturday night.  Sunday morning another front will press through bringing another round of heavy rain.  We will clear out Sunday afternoon and be dry through Monday.  Rainfall amounts now through Sunday will range from 2"-4", a little lower than what we were seeing yesterday, but still flooding is a likelihood across the area through the weekend.
