We have seen 2 to 3 inches of rain over the weekend and we could see another 3-6 inches of rain for the rest of this week.  The showers will return by Tuesday afternoon or evening and continue through the night and into Wednesday.  Highs will be in the mid 40’s Tuesday and in the upper 50’s on Wednesday.  As of now the weather charts are showing the heaviest rain west of our viewing area.  So there has been a change in the maximum rainfall amounts.

The chances for more rain will remain high on Thursday through Friday.  Highs Thursday will be in the low 60’s and on Friday in the upper 50’s.  This weekend will have a good chance for more showers with warmer highs in the mid to upper 60’s Saturday and near 70 on Sunday.  By Monday we will see a very nice day with highs in the low 60’s and partly cloudy skies.

Flooding is still likely later this week and river flood warnings are already going out.  So if you live in flood prone areas remain alert to changes in the forecast that will surely occur throughout this week.
