One man in the hospital after early morning shooting, Chattanooga Police investigating
Chattanooga Police are investigating an early morning shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
The incident happened just before 2:00 am Sunday morning near the 200 block of West 38th Street.
Witnesses told investigators they heard several loud gunshots around that time.
Once police and EMS responded to the scene, that's when they found the 35 year-old male victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital while police and members of CPD's Violent Crimes Bureau processed the scene.
CPD is still investigating this shooting and asking anyone with information to come forward.
