UPDATE: Officials say a woman has been charged with arson for admitting that she started a house fire on 10th Avenue on Friday afternoon.

It happened in the 4300 block shortly after 3:00 p.m.

Chattanooga Fire Department spokesperson Bruce Garner says 45-year-old Theresa Umbreit told investigators that she set her home on fire following an argument with her husband.

No one was injured.

The fire caused about $90,000 in damage.

Umbreit has been taken to the Hamilton County Jail for booking.

PREVIOUS UPDATE: A house fire on 10th Avenue in Chattanooga on Friday is under investigation.

It happened in the 4400 block near the Rossville Boulevard area, shortly after 3:00 p.m. 

Fire department spokesperson Bruce Garner says no one was found inside the home and no injuries were reported.
