Former Marion Co. youth football treasurer indicted for stealing from organization
A Marion County woman has been indicted for stealing from the Marion County youth football organization.
In October of 2017, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began investigating an allegation that someone had embezzled money from the organization.
During their investigation, agents determined that Kimberly Diana Winters, who is a former treasurer of the organization, stole more than $5,000 from the group's money for personal use between 2015 and 2017, a TBI spokesperson explained.
Winters has been indicted on one count of theft of property.
She was booked into the Marion County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
