The Murray County Animal Shelter is in desperate need of homes for a number of dogs.

"We are in desperate need of some relief at the shelter before the weather turns cold again," a shelter spokesperson said.

The shelter recently had seven dogs come in from someone who died, and no one has come to claim them. Now, they are in need of new homes for the pups.

"PLEASE-if you have considered adoption but put it off for some reason please come see our dogs," a shelter spokesperson pleaded.

If you choose to make one of the dogs a part of your family, you will have 30 days to get them altered and make sure they are a good fit.
