UPDATE: Jfest sells out another level of advance tickets
UPDATE: The third level of discounted Jfest 2019 tickets has sold out, according to event organizers.
That means there's only one last chance to receive an early-bird discount on regularly-priced tickets. Regular Jfest ticket prices remain the same as previous years, $25.00.
The event will be at the Tennessee Riverpark on Amnicola and boasts "the biggest artist line up ever," according to a news release. A limited number of the final early-bird tickets are available for $22.00.
This year’s festival will have the largest lineup in the event's 21-year history:
- Grammy Award-winning Hip Hop Artist Lecrae
- Multi-Dove award winner Matthew West
- Grammy Award winner Tauren Wells
- Building 429
- Ryan Stevenson
- The Young Escape
- Riley Clemmons
Then, what is described as "the biggest fireworks in Jfest history" and free parking, ensures that Jfest continues to be the best event for families and people of faith.
“We continue to be amazed at the excitement this year’s Jfest is generating,” says festival director, Ted Gocke. “The tickets are selling faster than we’ve ever seen. People are blown away at the lineup, the beautiful new venue on the TN River and the growth of Jfest!”
PREVIOUS STORY: Riverbend organizers are making some major changes for the 2019 festival.
The festival is being trimmed down to four days, and that means Faith and Family Night is being eliminated.
Christian music fans will still have an opportunity to hear some popular artists at another festival taking place a little over a week before Riverbend kicks off.
"With the elimination of Riverbend’s Faith and Family Night, Jfest is excited to fill the void," a Partners for Christian Media, which organizes Jfest, spokesperson said.
The annual festival is moving from Camp Jordan to the Tennessee Riverpark this year and will take place on May 18.
"For the first time in 20 years Jfest is moving to the banks of the TN River at the TN Riverpark on Amnicola which enables Chattanooga to be the home of the largest Christian Music event in a 100 mile radius," a Partners for Christian Media spokesperson said.
Artists like Grammy Award winner Lecrae, Matthew West, Grammy Award winner Tauren Wells, Building 429, Ryan Stevenson, The Young Escape, and Riley Clemmons will all perform at the festival.
“It’s amazing how God works everything out,” Festival Director Ted Gocke said. “Last May, when finishing up the final Jfest planning, we knew it was time to refresh and recharge our festival. Our crowds had begun to outgrow our current home of Camp Jordan, and we were excited to take Jfest to the next level. We approached the Hamilton County Parks Dept and Chattanooga State and were welcomed with enthusiasm. The TN Riverpark is the perfect festival venue and we are proud to now call it the Home of Jfest.”
Tickets for the festival will go on sale on February 7.
