UPDATE: Chattanooga police say one of the victims in the double-shooting on W. Main Street last week has died from her injuries.

Police have charged 28-year-old Robert Rodricus Orr in connection to the shooting.

Orr was taken into custody on January 31.

PREVIOUS UPDATE: Chattanooga police have charged a man in a double-shooting on W. Main Street Tuesday.

Police say 28-year-old Robert Rodricus Orr is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder and one count of Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

He was taken into custody on January 31.

Orr is accused of shooting two people in the 700 block of W. Main Street early Tuesday morning.

Orr is scheduled to appear in court on February 5.

PREVIOUS UPDATE: Chattanooga Police are investigating a late night, double-shooting in Chattanooga's Westside neighborhood. 

Police responded to a person shot call at the 700 block of West Main Street Court just after midnight Tuesday. 

Upon arrival, responders found two individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds. 

Both victims were transported to a local hospital where one victim remains in critical condition, while the other victim's injuries are not life-threatening. 

At this time, there are no suspects in custody. 

The Violent Crimes Bureau of the Chattanooga Police Department were called in to take over the on-going investigation.

PREVIOUS STORY: Two people were rushed to the hospital early Tuesday morning after being shot in Chattanooga's Westside neighborhood.

Chattanooga Police say it happened on West Main Street Court around 12:30 a.m.

That is a couple of blocks from Finley Stadium.

The suspected gunman is still on the loose, but investigators have not released a description.
