For many Americans, finding a job will be at the top of their resolutions list, but finding work may depend on the location.

If that's your goal for the new year, it is a good time to be on the market. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' job report, the unemployment rate was 3.7 percent nationwide.

If you'll be looking for a job this year, you're in luck. The National Association of Colleges and Employers says employers plan to hire 16.6 percent more new graduates from the class of 2019 than they did from last year's class.

Wallethub compared more than 180 U.S. cities to find the best for those in the market for a new job. 

The study finds that Scottsdale, Arizona, with one of the highest median annual incomes, is the overall best city to find a job.

Chattanooga weighed in at 72.
