2019 starting with drier and mostly cloudy day
Happy New Year! There will be a few isolated, light showers today, mainly before 9AM. Overall, the first day of 2019 will be dry with mostly cloudy skies. There will be a slight decrease in cloud cover in the afternoon, maybe allowing for a few peeks of sunshine. Additionally, it will be another warm day with high temperatures 10-15 degrees above normal in the low to mid-60s. Overnight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the low 40s.
Wednesday will start dry and mostly cloudy, and then showers will arrive for the late afternoon and continue into Thursday. Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid-50s and then low 50s for Thursday. Another round of rain will occur on Friday with pleasant high temperatures near 60. Total rain for Wednesday through Friday should be near 2 inches.
The weekend will dry out with partly cloudy skies on Saturday and highs in the mid-50s. Cloudiness will decrease throughout the day on Saturday. Then, Sunday looks to be a fantastic day with plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 50s. Clouds will increase again to partly cloudy on Monday will highs in the upper 50s.
