UPDATE: Four people were displaced after their home caught fire Sunday.

Just after 11:30 am, Chattanooga firefighters were called to a home in the 3900 block of Kemp Circle.

Firefighters found heavy smoke and visible flames when they arrived at the home.

Fire crews were able to get the blaze under control in 20 minutes, a CFD spokesperson said.

No one was injured, and everyone was able to get out of the home before firefighters arrived.

The cause has been ruled accidental and damage is estimated at around $40,000.

The American Red Cross is helping the four adults.
