BRISTOL, TN (AP) - An inflatable duck in a Santa hat and scarf has become such a hit in Bristol, Tennessee, that when it did not appear atop a resident's roof this year, strangers began campaigning for its return.

The Bristol Herald Courier reports one fan created a Facebook page titled "Bring Back the Bristol Christmas Duck." The page features a video of someone driving past the duckless home shouting, "Put up the duck!" from a car window.

Within days, the duck was back on the roof.

Jonah Rasnake, the duck's owner, said the delay came because a windstorm made a giant rip that was difficult to repair.

Almost immediately, a new video was posted to the Facebook page with someone driving by the house yelling, "The duck is up!"
