Today will start mostly cloudy in the morning with areas of patchy fog and mist. Clouds will break up through the day, allowing for more sunshine. It'll be partly sunny around lunch and then mostly sunny later in the afternoon. Highs will be comfortable in the mid-70s. A great day to enjoy outside! Monday will be mild with highs in the mid-70s again. Clouds will increase through the day, becoming mostly cloudy with breezy wind from the south. The wind will increase in the afternoon ahead of a cold front. We will have showers and isolated thunderstorms Monday late afternoon through Tuesday early morning. As of now, the main threat for severe weather will be staying outside of our area to the southwest in Middle Tennessee and Mississippi, but we are under a marginal risk for a few isolated strong to severe storms with the main threat being damaging wind. This system should bring us more widespread, much-needed rain at about 1-1.5".
