A duo has been arrested in connection with several breaking and entering cases in Cherokee County, North Carolina.

Following an investigation, Eric Edward Hill, 24, of Marble, North Carolina and Kayla Marie Coffey, 30, of Blairsville, Georgia were arrested on multiple charges following a string of break-ins. 

Hill is being charged with two counts of breaking and entering, larceny, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, and possession of stolen goods. 

Coffey is also being charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, possession of stolen goods and, additionally, aid and abet larceny. 

The pair is being held at the Cherokee County Detention Center; Hill with an $18,000 bond and Coffey with a $9,000 bond. 

Several of the items that had been reported missing were recovered and returned to their owners. 

Both are expected in Cherokee County District Court on January 24.
