A wet Friday and Saturday, but drying out Sunday!
Good afternoon Tennessee Valley!
Rain showers will be on and off today, continuing through tonight. Rainfall amounts by this evening will range from 0.25" to 0.50" for most, especially west of I-75. Umbrellas will be needed all day and for much of Saturday. Tomorrow morning a few rumbles of thunder will be possible east of I-75. I'm seeing mainly rainfall for most, but those across Chattanooga, Dalton, Ellijay, Murphy, Cleveland, and Murphy could see a few thunderstorms from 6AM-10AM on Saturday morning. There is still not a risk for severe weather. Rainfall tomorrow will range again from 0.25" to 0.50" ending by 7PM-8PM on Saturday evening. Temperatures stay in the mid-50s this weekend. Tonight, temperatures look to be 12-16 above normal in the upper 40s. Overnight lows over the next two more nights will be comparable to mid-October and early November.
A dry pattern begins Sunday and will continue through Wednesday. At this time there is a small rain chance for Thursday next week, but overall it looks to be nice with temperatures slightly above normal in the middle 50s with nights in the mid-30s.
