Good Monday.  Many of you are waking up to some light snow showers in the Blue Ridge Mtns., and on the Cumberland Plateau.  In the valleys, we are getting a cold light rain.  There may be a few areas of ice on the roads in these higher locations so please use caution heading in this morning.  Some spots on the Plateau have seen more than an inch of snow.  Temps are in the mid to upper 30s in the Tennessee Valley, north GA, and in the Blue Ridge.  It is in the low 30s on the Plateau.

Heading through the morning the wintry mix will taper off, and we will have overcast skies through the late morning and early afternoon.  A few light rain showers will redevelop this afternoon from Chattanooga south.  Temps will be in the low to mid-40s this afternoon.

Tonight skies will clear out, and cold weather will settle in.  Tuesday morning temps are going to be in the mid to upper 20s.  In the mountains, we may drop into the upper 10s.  For the most part, roads will be dry Tuesday morning, but there may be a few patchy areas of ice in the high elevations so be cautious.
