Good Thursday.  It is a frigid start to the day with temps in the low 20s this morning.  We will see a few clouds and warmer air than yesterday afternoon as highs manage to make it to the mid 40s.

Friday the low that will ruin your weekend plans will push in clouds through the day.  The chance of any precipitation is only about 10%.  We may get a flurry in the morning and a sprinkle in the afternoon, but it is not likely.

Saturday morning we will start out with clouds and a chance for a few morning showers.  We MAY get a little-mixed precipitation in the higher elevations.  In the valley, temps will be in mid to upper 30s.  In the Blue Ridge low to mid 30s.  Through the morning widespread rain will overtake the area.  Saturday afternoon will be rainy with temps in the upper 30s and low 40s.  Saturday night into Sunday morning we will see more rain with some of that in the mountains changing over into a wintry mix once again.  Temps in the Valley Sunday morning will be in the mid to upper 30s.  In the higher elevations, it will drop into the low to mid 30s.

Through the day Sunday, we will continue to see mainly rain showers with highs again in the upper 30s and low 40s.  In some spots, though, that could change into a rain/sleet/snow mix late in the day into Sunday night.

Monday the low will move east, but on the back side of it, we could easily see some additional areas of a light wintry mix through the day.

I don't expect any widespread areas of freezing on our roadways, but I would also expect that there will be a few icy spots especially during the morning hours in the mountains.

Rainfall this weekend will range from 2"-2.5".  Don't rule out the potential for localized flooding this weekend either, especially Saturday afternoon into Sunday.
