Good Tuesday.  The colder air is arriving.  This morning most folks have dropped into the 30s.  We will only have highs in the low 40s this afternoon with partly cloudy skies. We are a bit breezy today also with winds from the NW at 10-15 mph.

Wednesday will be bitterly cold all day with temps ranging from about 30 in the morning to only 42 in the afternoon.

Thursday will start out in the mid 20s.  We will rebound to 48 in the afternoon.

Friday will be a little warmer.  We will start in the mid to upper 30s with highs reaching the upper 40s.  Clouds will be building in through the day Friday.

The weekend will be interesting.  If you have an outdoor event this weekend, you will likely need the rain date.  I am expecting rain all day Saturday.  Saturday morning temps in Chattanooga will be in the mid to upper 30s.  In the higher elevations, we will drop into the low 30s, and could easily see some of that rain changing over into a wintry mix.  Saturday afternoon we will only climb into the low 40s with the rain continuing through the day and into Saturday night.

Sunday will be about the same.  Temps in the mid to upper 30s in the morning.  Rain in the valleys, and possibly some mixed precipitation in the mountains.  That will all change over into cold rain in the afternoon as we once again only make it into the low 40s.

The system will exit Monday, but as it does a wintry mix could fall east of Chattanooga in the early morning.  We will clear out Monday afternoon with highs in the low 40s.
