Bradley County man charged in child sex sting
A Bradley County man has been charged with child sex crimes as part of a sting operated by the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office.
Raymond Frederick has been charged with 5 counts of exploitation of a minor by electronic means, 1 count of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, and 1 count of sexual exploitation.
Detectives working on a case involving runaway juveniles discovered that 25-year-old Raymond Frederick of Bradley County was involved with helping the juveniles run away from home.
An online sting operation, using social media, was launched be the detectives and a TBI agent.
Frederick agreed to meet what he believed to be a juvenile in Decatur to have sex. Once he arrived at the meeting location, Frederick was taken into custody without incident last month.
Frederick is being held on a $360,000 bond.
