Good Afternoon Tennessee Valley,

After a very cold morning in the mid to low 20s for most, sunshine this morning will help temperatures rebound to the mid-30s by noon. Look for a high-temperature today of 41 in Chattanooga, staying in the mid-30s on the plateaus. Average low for November 28th is 37, and the average high is 57. Afternoon temperatures will stay 15-20 below normal for another day, and it looks likely for Thursday too.

Tomorrow morning may bring a few hours of sun, with clouds increasing by afternoon. It will be more cloudy tomorrow, with temperatures in the low 40s. It won't be quite as cold either, as a few more clouds tonight should keep temperatures 5 degrees better near 30 tonight.

Hit and miss showers will be possible on Thursday. The best chance will come in the evening and overnight time frame. Rainfall amounts of 0.01" to 0.10" looks likely with locally higher amounts to 0.20" near Athens and the Crossville areas.

Hit and miss showers will again be possible on Friday morning. Rain will be increasing on Friday evening west of I-75. Chattanooga on Friday night looks to get light rainfall, while those near Van Buren, Grundy, Franklin, Marion, and Sequatchie counties could see rain up to 1".

The best rain chance will move in during the day Saturday. Storms will be possible in the morning and afternoon, ending by 5-7PM for most in the evening. Rain amounts on Saturday will bring an additional 1" to 2".
