More than a year ago, a fire damaged the inside of the Bradley County Courthouse forcing it to close.

Cleveland firefighters say it started in the mechanical room on the first floor.

Some workers were putting on the finishing touches and cleaning Sunday night.

For the most part, the interior looks the same as it did before the fire.

The building now has more security cameras and fire alarms.

Court will be in session Monday morning with Judge Puckett.

Courthouse officials say the same procedures and rules will apply as they did before the fire.

The fire caused $6 million in damages to the courthouse.

The Bradley County Clerk's office is expected to open by Thursday.
