Meigs County's Aaron Swafford named Tennessee Titans Mr. Football for Division I-2A
Meigs County's season may have come to a close this past Friday, but one Tiger takes home some hardware in 2018. Quarterback Aaron Swafford was named the 2018 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football for Division I-2A at a ceremony Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Swafford led the Tigers to a 13-1 record in 2018, perfect regular season, and region title. Meigs County's season came to a close in the state semifinals, losing to Trousdale County 32-29.
Tyner's Jeremiah Batiste was also a finalist for the award in 2A.
Notre Dame's Cam Wynn was a finalist in Division II-AA and East Hamilton's Mason Lafollette was a finalist for kicker of the year.
Congratulations to this year's winners and finalists!
