Scattered showers and storms are moving through the Tennessee Valley now ahead of a cold front. Isolated thunderstorms may occur until about 10PM. Then, chances for scattered light rain showers will last until about 2AM for our western viewing area, about 3AM in Chattanooga, and around 4AM for our eastern counties. Rainfall totaling on average 0.1-0.25". Evening temperatures won't vary much, staying near 50.

After the cold front passes, greater cooling will occur starting around 4AM with lows dropping in the upper 30s. Monday will usher in colder daytime temperatures with highs only in the mid-40s and a partly sunny sky. There is an isolated chance for light flurries in the higher elevations on Monday, but no accumulation is expected. Then overnight, temperatures will drop into the upper 20s. Tuesday and Wednesday will also be cold days, especially Tuesday with highs in the low 40s. Fortunately, both Tuesday and Wednesday will be mostly sunny to go along with the cold temperatures.

Highs will return to the low 50s by Thursday with some increasing cloud cover. Then, warming again on Friday to the mid-50s with scattered rain chances and mostly cloudy. Another rain system will move through on Saturday through Sunday morning with high temperatures around 60 on both days.
