Over $100,000 worth of stolen items were recovered during a traffic stop in Cohutta Saturday morning.
The Cohutta Police Department said three trailers, two motorcycles and a Ford pickup truck were some of the items recovered.
The items were taken from Chattanooga and Cleveland in Tennessee and from Dalton, Cohutta and Lyerly, Georgia.
The owners of the stolen items have been notified or the department tried to contact them, a spokesperson said.
The suspects, Ricky Lawhorn and Jonathan Smith, were both arrested and booked into the Whitfield County Jail on multiple charges.
The Georgia Department of Community Supervision, Varnell Police Department and the Cohutta Police Department and Whitfield County Dispatch all assisted with the operation.
