CrossFit for the Fallen raises money for families of officers killed in the line of duty
CrossFit for the Fallen is supporting the families of officers who died in the line of duty.
The 2018 Road to Hope Law Enforcement United bike ride goes from Atlantic City, New Jersey, to the National Mall in Washington D.C.
Chattanooga Police Lieutenant Heather Williams says it's about remembering the fallen.
"It's very important that we support them for their sacrifice. They died in the line of duty protecting and serving, so it's an honor to be able to provide support for the family members, so that they're not forgotten. We want to remember the fallen and remember their family members."
All the funds raised go towards Concerns of Police Survivors. It provides support to the family members of the officers who are killed.
Williams says they raised more than $3,000 from Saturday's workout.
