Lines for voting in Whitfield County are out the door.

A spokesperson for the Whitfield County Election Commission said there have been no technical issues at the polls Tuesday. However, there has been human error. The spokesperson said voters are showing up not knowing where their precinct is or coming in without the proper identification.

They are offering provisional ballots, the spokesperson explained. A provisional ballot is used to record a vote when there are questions about a given voter's eligibility that must be resolved before the vote can count.

In Whitfield County, there were 9,600 people who voted early.
