UPDATE: A Brainerd family received an abrupt wake-up call Saturday morning when a pickup truck crashed into their home.

The crash happened just after 2:00 am in the 4100 block of Cherryton Drive.

When firefighters arrived at the home, they saw that the Lite Step Gardening truck had crashed into the base of the house, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department.
