A Chattanooga family's home was significantly damaged by fire Thursday night.

Just after 11:00 pm, firefighters were called to the 2500 block of East 40th Street.

Battalion Chief Chris Warren said when they arrived at the home, there was heavy fire showing on the front of the home.

Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control in 15 minutes.

Everyone was able to get out of the home, and no one was injured.

The damage cost is currently unknown, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
